Bolero Neo: Compared to the XUV700 and the Scorpio-N, Mahindra Bolero Neo does not come with the best in its segment or with segment-first features. It is largely old school. However, in recent days some updates have been given in it.
It includes features like Multi-Terrain Technology (MTT), Engine Start Stop System, Eco Drive Mode, electrically adjustable ORVMs, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, cruise control and reverse parking assist.
As part of the update received on the 2022 model, the Bolero Neo gets Mahindra’s new ‘Twin Peaks’ logo, which was previously seen on the Scorpio Classic, Scorpio-N and XUV700 as well. Mahindra’s new ‘Twin Peaks’ logo is mounted slightly upwards on the front grille.
The new logo is placed between the vertical slats. Mahindra’s new Twin Peaks logo matches well with the boxy profile of the Bolero Neo.
There are straight-cut panels on the body of the SUV. Even the rear view mirrors are rectangular shaped. The new Mahindra logo can be seen at the rear on the spare wheel cover. Inside, the steering wheel also gets a new logo. Apart from the new logo, the Bolero Neo remains largely the same as before. Some of the key features include a slated grille with chrome garnish, sporty headlamps and DRLs, sleek fog lamp housing and the signature Bolero branding on the spare wheel cover.
The side profile gets decent body cladding, squared-off wheel arches, running boards, straight-cut windows and blacked-out pillars. At the rear, the Bolero Neo gets a flat tailgate with mounted spare wheel, Bolero Neo logo and vertically positioned tail lamps.
The Bolero Neo can seat 7 people in a 2+3+2 configuration. The rear seats are side facing seats, which can be adjusted to create more boot space. On the inside, features include 3.5-inch LCD cluster display, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth, USB and AUX, steering mounted audio controls, power steering, engine start stop, AC with Eco mode and 12V charging point. Huh.
The interiors of the Bolero Neo are spacious, with ample legroom and headroom.
